Return Policies

* We do NOT offer refunds to individual customers, only to professional locksmiths. All sales are final unless instructed otherwise.

* Returns must be made within the 30 day time frame after purchase, along with its original LKS hardware label and original packaging. 

* The customer is responsible for the return shipping unless instructed otherwise.

* All returns will receive a store credit to the customer’s LKS account AFTER an inspection of products has been completed, and it’s approved. There may also be a restocking fee applied and omitted from the refund given back to the client’s account.

* Restocking fees are (%) and are deducted from the customer’s credit given if a refund has been granted. There are no refunds on the original shipping and handling orders.

* If a returned product/s is in a condition to where it can not be restocked, the customer can request to have the product/s shipped back to them (at their own expense). We will not issue a refund.

* Any return without a packing or item number attached will NOT be refunded. They will be returned at the customer’s expense.

* No refunds will be given directly to a client, only to their account.

* Any products that have been used will NOT be accepted as a return, nor refunded unless instructed otherwise.

*We are unable to accept unsealed locks, from Baldwin, Lockly, Alarmlock, and DormaKaba. 

* All returns are to be shipped to the returns department. Please make sure to include the original packaging and order number. (Address, City, State, zip) 

Cancelling an Order or Orders

Once an order is placed, you have 15-30 minutes to cancel “via telephone not email”. Otherwise the order will be processed and payment fully charged to the account. If you cancel an order or orders and the order is already processed, you are still able to call the office during regular business hours Mon-Fri and request a refund, but it is not guaranteed. 

Exceptional returns

*We are unable to accept brand new OEM keys unless instructed otherwise.

* We are unable to accept machines, brand name locks, or electronic devices UNLESS they are approved by LKS or the manufacturer. 

* We are unable to accept decoders, lishies, or EZ readers unless instructed otherwise. 

Replacements/Missing items

* If an item is returned in new condition and in the original packing order that it was received in, you may exchange it for something for equal value. Shipping and handling charges may also apply. 

* Any missing items from an order or orders must be reported within 48 hours from the delivery. We will not honor, replace, nor reimburse for any missing item or items  reported after the 48 hour mark has lapsed.
